JAC seeks punishment for culprits

Imphal, July 18 2013:
The Joint Action Committee (JAC) formed in connection with the death of Mumtaz of Phouden Litan Leirak has sought strictest punishment for the culprits.
Addressing media persons at Manipur Press Club here today, Vice-President of the JAC Md Gaffer said that Mumtaz was found dead under suspicious circumstances at her husband's home at Keirao Makting on May 2 this year.
The authorities concerned should investigate into the case and punish the culprits involved in the murder, he demanded.
The Vice-President further condemned the acts of some people who try to withdraw the case from the police in the name of the JAC.
