Weaving, food processing course kicks off

A 3-month residential course on weaving and one month course on food processing kicked off today at REACH-M jubilee hall, Nungourok village, reports our correspondent.
The training course was organized by Rural Education and Action for Change, Manipur (REACH-M) and All Tribal Women Organisation (ATWO) under the sponsorship of District Rural Development Agency Chandel's Border Area Development Program (BADP).
Inaugurated by Julie Daryal Anal, SDO, Machi, the inaugural function was graced by Modhuchandra Singh, Research Assistant (Planning), Chandel and Reverend MM Hormi Kountim, Chairman, REACH - M as presidium members.
Altogether, 55 unemployed youths from Machi and Tengnoupal Sub-Division are participating in the training course.
