The 18th death anniversary of former minister Pilot AK Lanngam was observed at Manipur Press Club here on Sunday.
As a part of the programme, family members of the late minister presented monetary aid to All Manipur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU) along with organising a lunch for the members of AMWJU Standing Committee and other invitees.
It may be mentioned here that AK Lanngam initially started his career as a pilot, but later on entered politics and was elected from Naoriya Pakhanglakpa assembly constituency and held the post of a minister.
