Imphal, November 30 2015:
The JAC against anti-tribal Bills, in its meeting held today, decided to allow normal reopening of schools, shops and establishments including Govt offices in Churachandpur from Dec 1 .
However, 'Lengkhawm' at Lamka district hospital will continue under the supervision of the Joint Philanthropic Organisation and the JAC: Women Wing till the mortal remains of the nine tribal martyrs are laid to rest.
According to a statement issued by the JAC, the meeting held today at the JAC Information Centre, KKL Complex deliberated on the request made to the JAC by leaders of various tribes' apex bodies like GTC, HI, KIC, MTC, MPC, STC, TCU, UZO and VPC.
