Kakching, July 26 2017:
In connection with the grave aftermath of the recent flood damaging fish farms and paddy fields, Kakching Khunou Youth Forum, Kakching district has sought attention of the State Government to provide assistance to the farmers and the victims.
A press release issued by president secretary of the forum stated that more than 200 acres of paddy fields have been destroyed and several fish farms have been damaged .
It has also urged the authority concerned to improve the deteriorating condition of Uyok bridge which is built across Tarang river and serves as the most important connectivity for Indo- Burma-Sugnu road.
