Liquor destroyed

Jiribam, October 16 2022:
Liquor worth over Rs 7 lakh have been destroyed at Jiribam district's Golarthol today.
A bulk of the destroyed liquor was beer.
Altogether 2,275 beer cans, 158 litres of Indian Made Foreign Liquor and 60 litres of DIC liquor--worth about Rs 7,82,500 were disposed of at the Excise Station at Gularthol.
The liquor were disposed of in the presence of Jiribam police personnel, Excise staff and members of Coalition Against Drugs and Alcohol (CADA) .
Jiribam Deputy Superintendent of Police S Gourachand, Excise Office Jiribam, Officer in-Charge RK Rakesh, Additional SP AK Sadananda, OC Jiribam H Devenkishore Singh, ASI Suraj Singh, CADA president Yumnam Sumati and members of Meira Paibis were present.
