NMA chairman arrives

Imphal, May 13 2022:
National Monuments Authority (NMA) chairman Tarun Vijay arrived here on Friday as part of a 3-day visit to the state.
During his stay, the chairman will visit different places including monument sites, which have been encroached upon illegally.
He will also inspect the Vishnu temple in Bishnupur and Govindajee Temple inside Kangla Fort, in addition to visiting INA Memorial, Moirang.
A plan to construct a memorial for the brave soldiers will also be proposed.
Tarun Vijay is accompanied by NMA senior member Hemraj Kamdar.
