LLDC appeals

Loktak Lake Development Committee (LLDC) has appealed to the Loktak Development Authority (LDC) and K-Pro Infra Works Pvt Ltd to come to a settlement so that LLDC can pay the outstanding bills to the local people who worked at Loktak Lake.
A statement signed by President of LLDC, Oinam Paka said that the company has been unable to pay the outstanding bills of the Bamboo Spurring Works at Loktak Lake which had been completed three years back.
"The company officials said that LDA is withholding their bills and they are not in a position to pay the same LDA officials say that they can't pay the bills to the company as it was yet to come to a settlement on certain issues, said the press release.
LLDC warned that it will launch an agitation against LDA and K-Pro Infra Works Pvt Ltd if they fail to bring a settlement.
The press release also urged the Chief Minister of Manipur who also holds the Chairmanship of LDA to look into the matter immediately.
