Imphal, October 07 2014:
In view of the Haj pilgrims from the State who are returning from Mecca next week, rapid response teams are being set up for Ebola screening.
The Government would not take any chances and all the Haj pilgrims from the State would be screened as no one is sure if any of them had physical contacts with Ebola infected persons from other parts of the world, said a high ranking official of Family Welfare Department.
Rapid Response teams are being set up specially for the Haj pilgrims for Ebola screening at Tulihal Airport starting from next week.
Meanwhile, the Japanese tourist who has been confined at JNIMS isolation ward has improved appreciably.
She was confined there after she showed symptoms of high fever, said the official.
