Imphal, May 04 2010:
The Kuki Students' Organisation (KSO) Ukhrul district has decried the alleged partiality in the recruitment of Primary Teachers under Autonomous District Council, Ukhrul.
A press release issued by the student body lamented that only seven Kuki candidates were selected as against the total post of 607 .
Though a minority in Ukhrul district, the number of selected Kuki candidates was 13 times less than general candidates and seven times less than OBC candidates.
Even if the recruitment was made based on bribery, at least 50 per cent should have been made on merit basis, it rued.
