A 13�day training on module 6 and 7 of ASHAs of National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) was slated from today in the training hall of the WD Wing at office complex of the MACS, Lamphel.
The training programme started from today was the first batch of the training on Module 6 and 7 of the NRHM and 35 ASHAs from across the five districts of Imphal east, Imphal west, Thoubal, Bishnupur and Tamenglong are taking part in the training programme.
The inaugural function of the training programme was graced by commissioner of health, Vumlhunmang.
He said that the training programme opened today is the first ever in the country in which ASHAs were given training on Module 6 and 7.The modules are related with taking care of newly born child in the home.
