SANPO and others condemn

Saikul Area Naga People's Organsiation (SANPO) has strongly condemned the incident of burning down 36 houses and destroying properties at Silent village by people of the neighbouring Saichang.
In a statement, Publicity Secretary of SANPO AS Leishipem observed that any misunderstanding and dispute can be solved through mutual talk and adjustment.
So, the conduct of Saichang village in such a vulnerable situation of Manipur is condemnable.
While appealing to both the parties to shun violence and bring an amicable solution through mutual talk, SANPO has also urged the Government to look into the matter immediate, ensure safety of the villagers of Silent and extend maximum assistance to the victims.
Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills and Kuki Students' Organization Sadar Hills have also condemned the attack on Silent village and appealed to the government for immediate intervention to prevent further disaster as well as for providing immediate relief the affected villagers.
