Council lauds

Imphal, March 29 2015:
Council of Tribal Languages and Literature Societies, Manipur has lauded the decision of the State Cabinet for deciding to introduce Anal, Maram, Maring and Simte languages in the school.
The decision has opened the door of opportunity to let the children of these communities learn in their mother tongue in the schools, said a statement.
It further said that the State Government must earmark fund for bringing out quality textbooks as the guidelines of the National Curriculum Framework from time to time.
