JAC warns police

Imphal, May 27 2013:
The JAC formed against forced eviction of Naga river lane-Kabo Leikai has warned those police personnel who are stationing within the evicted area to stop using provocative and communal words towards the suffering and helplessness of the victims.
In a statement, Convenor of the JAC Grace T Shatsang informed that at around 5.30 pm yesterday, some police personnel stationing within the evicted area mentally tortured some victims who are still holding on within the evicted area amidst the debris of their destroyed houses.
These police personnel also mocked at the victims using provocative and communal words.
