Free cataract detection camp

Thoubal, October 22 2016:
National Programme for Control of Blindness, Thoubal under the aegis of national Health Mission has organised a free cataract detection camp at Serou PHC today, reports our correspondent.
136 people were examined of which 31 were detected with cataract.
NPCB, Thoubal District Nodal Officer Dr Ksh Memcha Devi informed that NPCB, Thoubal has been organising free cataract detection camp at various places since April and so far, 300 people detected with cataract have been operated free of cost at JNIMS.
