Imphal, November 20 2011:
Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution N Biren has appealed to all the people in essential services including press, school transporters, passenger service and trucks not to cease service in public interest.
The Minister clarified that the new fuel rationing system is being implemented only on trial basis and it would not be applicable to essential services including school vans, trucks and passenger services.
The Minister has also informed that there is enough stock of petrol and diesel in the oil depot of the IOC at Chingmeirong.
