Medical camps held

Medical team of 44 Assam Rifles of 10 Sector under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) conducted a medical camp at Nampisha on Sep 18 where more than 200 patients from Nampisha and adjoining areas were diagnosed and provided medicines.
Villagers were educated on basic hygiene and sanitation, mother and child care.
The opportunity was also utilized to promote awareness about joining Security Forces in the general populace, informed a statement issued by the PRO of IGAR (S).
In another occasion, 42 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) organized a Medical cum Dental Camp at Chandel on Sep 17.The camp was conducted by a team of medical officers, dental officers and paramedical staff of the Unit A total of 175 patients from Chandel and nearby villages were diagnosed and provided medicines, it added.
