Village authority asserts

Churachandpur, July 19 2017:
A strong wind which occurred on February 7 midnight blew off the tin roof of Bongbal JP School, Singat Constituency and carried it some 40 km away from the school's location .
The village authority Letkholal alias David told our correspondent that on the night of February 7, a strong gust of wind blew away the roof and damaged the school where a total of 57 students studies .
"Five months have passed already but the authority concerned didn't turn up so the village authority had permitted the use of the village community hall as a class room", the local asserted .
He further stated that the village authority had sought help from NGOs and other students' organizations to rebuild the school building and added that since the village was far away from the main town of Churachandpur, the failure of the authority concenred to visit and inspect the damage is unfortunate.
