Closure of all tourist sites suggested

Imphal, July 19 2022:
In view of increasing number of COVID-19 positive cases in the state, director (tourism) W Ibohal has approached commissioner (tourism) and suggested closure of all tourist sites in the state to
curb further spread of the disease.
W Ibohal wrote to commissioner (tourism), suggesting that tourist destinations like parks, waterfalls, resorts, hotels, restaurants, gardens, heritage sites, religious
places, cafeteria, etc., operated by government/private organisations/individuals be banned from being accessed by general public for time being till COVID-19 situation improves in the state.
