Imphal, November 27 2019:
Irang and Chiyulon, the two Amur Falcons which were satellite radio tagged by State Forest Department and Wildlife Institute of India scientists, reached Maharashtra and Tanzania respectively today.
According to a source from the WII, Irang, which was born in Mongolia, was satellite radio tagged on November 1 at Puching village.
It flew across the Bay of Bengal and reached Maharashtra today morning.
It will then leave for South Africa.
On the other hand, Chiyulon has already landed at Tanzania, the source informed.
