Archives office renovation

Manipur State Archives Deputy Director Md Abdul Kalam has said office building of Manipur State Archives located at Keishampat is being renovated to properly accommodate the records and archival materials contributed by different individuals.
Speaking at a press conference held at his office chamber, the Deputy Director said that efforts are being made to make Manipur State Archives a top archives institute in the North East region.
Saying that all the records are being maintained properly, Md Abdul Kalam said that Manipur State Archives has 15,000 printed books and various other archival materials and documents starting from Treaty of Yandaboo 1764 .
