Imphal, July 14 2016:
Taking serious note of the demand of RIMS Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department to revoke the order which placed one doctor under suspension in connection with the death of Th Kheroda during delivery within 24 hours and their decision to take mass casual leave on July 15, RIMS Director Prof Ch Arunkumar has appealed to department's authority not to take mass casual leave as it would create lots of difficulties to patients.
The Director has also appealed to the RIMS Teachers' and Medical Officers' Association (TAMOA) to with- draw their demand for revocation of the suspension order by 4 pm of July 14 in the interest of patients and RIMS.
