Quake induced stroke

The Myanmar quake that jolted the region last night has left a man dead as he reportedly suffered a heart-attack on feeling the ground shake while walking on the street, sources close to the family said, reports our CCpur correspondent.
Jangkholal Haokip (29), father of two who was a VDF personnel was walking with two minor kids on the street of Tuijang village when the quake struck last night.
He along with the kids sat on the street immediately on feeling it but was believed to have been immediately seized by a lethal heart-attack that eventually claimed his life.
He was rushed to Sielmat Christian Hospital, but despite the best of efforts given by the doctors there he could not be resuscitated, said a source.
The VDF man (No.G 001, Rank No.020001) was currently residing at a rented house along with his wife and their two kids at Tuijang village.
His mortal remains were laid to rest today at his permanent village in Ukha Tampak.
