Tamenglong, September 06, 2009:
The Zeliangrong Students' Union, Manipur, ZSUM, has threatend that it would launch a series of bandh and strikes, if the State Government does not roll back the transfer order of DC, Jacinta Lazarus, within September 8, reports our correspondent.
In a statement, the student body said that frequent transfer and posting of officers hamper development works and demanded that the transfer order be stayed.
If the transfer order is not stayed, that the student body along with Zeliangrong Women's Union and other organisations would launch a series of agitation, it warned.
