Senapati ADC decries

Imphal, November 26 2014:
The Autonomous District Council (ADC), Senapati, in a press statement issued today, has drawn the attention of the concerned authorities and the public in general regarding the condition of Senapati ADC.
According to the statement, five Executive Mem- bers were elected to the ADC by the chairman on March 28, 2011 but till date no separate rooms are provided for these members.
Even basic infrastructure like table and chairs are yet to be provided.
Similarly, on July 2, 2010 18 peons were appointed to the ADC with a minimum wage of 3500 per month.
However, till date not even a month's salary has been dispersed to these peon.
Also the ADC still requires 8 more peons in the office.
The statement further informed that a single sitting of the office has not been convened till date since the last sitting on November 16, 2012 .
The ADC, Senapati has therefore appealed to all concerned authorities to initiate necessary measures to insure smooth functioning of the council.
