Imphal, January 20 2017:
After the State Government has invited the United Naga Council (UNC) to a tripartite talk over the issue of economic blockade, the UNC has intimated their position to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) .
The State Government invited the UNC for a dialogue after the Central Government asked it to make necessary arrangements for a meeting with the UNC at its own initiative.
The UNC's intimation to the MHA maintained that the tripartite talks should be held at Delhi or a Naga district and the agenda is the creation of seven new districts.
The UNC delegation should be led by president Gaidon Kamei.
Even though the UNC's conditions have been conveyed to the State Government over telephone, no written intimation has been received so far, conveyed a source.
