Kakching High School 1984 Matric Batch continues its philanthropic activities

Members of Kakching High School 1984 Matric Batch extended monetary aid of Rs 15,000 (Rupees fifteen thousand) to Moirangthem Suraj who has been in an immobilized state due to an injury in his spinal cord.
The members visited the residence of Moirangthem Suraj at Kakching Wairi Senapati Leikai and handed over the monetary aid contributed by its members.
Speaking on the occasion, president of the association, Naorem Munal stressed on the dire need of extending help to M Suraj who was the sole bread earner of the family has been left helpless due to the injury.
Suraj's mother is also hearing impaired adding more woes to the hardships of the family.
Considering such problems and on humanitarian grounds, he appealed to all to extend best possible help to the family.

N Munal also enumerated about the philanthropic activities carried out by the association ever since its inception.
Enlisting the activities, he said that the members of the batch had distributed to Covid affected households and Covid Care Centres, organised social service camps in many places of Kakching including hospitals.
Toppers of exams such as civil services exam have been feted at many instances and teachers have been honoured with simple gifts as well, he added.
He continued that under the theme 'Tha-amma-thabak-amma' they have been carrying out activities for the welfare of the society.
He further stated that the members have extended monetary aid to ailing footballer Ramananda and ailing kidney patient Thoungamba from Kakching Turel Wangma.
Also they have extended best possible support in the renovation works of Kakching Khujampat.
