Senapati, June 12 2017:
In a recent inspection tour organized by Maram Union executives in all the Maram villages, the speaker of the Union A John has urged all the Government institutes within the jurisdiction of Maram Union to function fully and serve the people.
The team interacted with the village authorities, women organisations, youth organizations, elders and Church leaders.
During the week long tour, the team found that many Government institutes like schools, Primary Health Centres (PHCs), Primary Sub-Health Centres (PSHCs), Common Service Centres (CSCs) and others were functioning properly.
However, the team also came across some institutions which remain defunct and has appealed the authority concerned to initiate and re-ignite the institutes at the earliest.
General secretary of Maram Union said, " I would like to request all the Heads of Departments and persons posted in Maram villages (teachers, doctors, nurse, technical persons etc) to do their part and revive the defunct institutes" and added "The Union is compelled to take stern action if the authority concerned does not hear our appeal" .
