ASHA training ends

Ukhrul Block Programme Management Unit of NRHM conducted the 2nd batch of four days long Module-VI ASHA training at TTA conference hall from March 2 to 5 .
ASHA trainers Sirala and Kaphungwon were the main resource persons of the training programme supervised by BFM S.Songachan and BPM Wontharla with active participation of 55 ASHA members under PHC Khangkhui and PHC Lambui.
Besides practical demonstration about hand washing, wraping child, weighing child, birth preparedness and testing by using nischay kit, ASHA drug kit stock card, the social health activists were also armed with indepth knowledge about the role of ASHA, significance of village health nutrition day, maintenance of ASHA records, pregnancy diagnosis, essential components of AnteNatal and PostNatal check up, safe child delivery, management of anaemia, postpartam and breast feeding.
Quiz competition was also conducted during the programme with the winner prize going to ASHA of Tongou Wonreila.
The programme management unit informed that the 3rd batch of Module-VI ASHA training will be held sometime in the last week of this month.
