A seminar cum counselling on studies in "Asia Japanese Academy" (AJA) Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan was conducted at Nupeelal Memorial Complex, Babupara today.
The programme was organised by the Japanese Language Studies, Imphal and graced by Tsukamoto Katsumi, Director General, AJA Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan and Dharmaraj Adhikari, Director of Language Cell, AJA, Japan, Naorem Praveen Singh (MCS), Director of Education (S), Government of Manipur as presidium members.
Speaking at the programme, Tsukamoto Katsumi said that students who are interested in pursuing studies in Japan could fulfil their aspiration by learning in AJA.
Cordial relationship between Japan and India particularly Manipur can be created by exchanging the cultural assets and other values among the students.
Describing education as the most energetic force in motivating a society, Dharamraj said learning Japanese language would help the students in getting jobs in Japan and in the State under various projects of the Central Government.
He also assured part time job facilities would also be provided to the learners so as to acquaint themselves in Japanese work environment.
Praveen asserted that people of the State and country at large can learn many things Japan which is developing at an accelerating pace.
Origami demonstration by the students of the Centre for Japanese Language Studies, Imphal, interactive session by students who have participated in JENESYS Programme in Japan, counselling, question and answer and interview sessions were also held.
