Reingamphy's death case:: No opinion can be formed : DCP

The post mortem examination of the body of Reingamphy Awungshi (21), who was found dead in her rented room in South Delhi yesterday, was conducted at AIIMs today.
Reportedly, the police suspected suicide by consuming some drugs, the empty wrappers of which were found in the her room during a search.
In response to the said reported statement of the Police, the DCP of South Delhi, BS Jaiswal told The Sangai Express that the said items of 28 empty wrappers of Spasmo Proxivon tablets found in her room is confirmed.
"After the post mortem it will only then be ascertained whether she (Awungshi ) had consumed the said tablets and an FIR will be filed" he said.
"Consumption of Spasmo Proxivon can be fatal," Jaiswal said.
While dismissing the question on whether the body had been lying for more than one day, as per reports suggesting that the police had suspected movement of some animals on her body that bore some marks of possibility of being eaten, "Only after the post mortem, any opinion can be formed on the cause of the death," the DCP reiterated.
Meanwhile, President of Tangkhul Shanao Long, Delhi (TSLD), Felicita Shongvah said that the death of Reingamphy is highly suspicious.
In a telephonic interaction, the TSLD president said that Malviya Nagar Police refused to register an FIR in connection with the case.
Instead of registering a case, the police kept on pressurising the family members to take back the mortal remain home .
"This is unethical on the part of Malviya Nagar Police," she fumed.
