Imphal, July 27 2019:
All Clubs, Organizations, Associations, Kangleipak and Meira Paibi Lup (ACOAM-Lup) has cautioned that all indigenous communities residing in the State will suffer extreme misery if the communities are not sensitive enough and fail to see through the Central Government's ploy to disintegrate Manipur.
ACOAM-Lup has also condemned the State Government's failure to deliver justice on the death of Ningthoujam Babysana who was allegedly found hung to death inside the boarding of Standard Robarth Higher Secondary School, Canchipur on July 18 .

Speaking as a presidium member at the Integrity Protection Day observance which was organized today at Manipur Press Club by ACOAM-Lup, its president (in charge) Sanjit Soraisam alleged that the Government of India has been continuously trying to disintegrate Manipur even after the three words "without territorial limits" were removed from the Bangkok Agreement on July 27, 2001, the agreement signed between Gol and NSCN (IM), following massive public protest (June Uprising) against insertion of the three words in the Bangkok Agreement.
The Integrity Protection Day is being observed every year on July 27 to commemorate the removal of the words 'without territorial limits' from the Bangkok Agreement.
Collective efforts of all the communities dwelling in the State are crucial for establishing peace and harmony in the society but crafting separate strategies in the interest of any single community or some particular communities will not bear fruit, Sanjit said.
However, in pursuit of a solution to the peace talk going on between NSCN (IM) and Gol, the latter has been spewing venom among different communities living together in the State with an ulterior motive to disintegrate the State, he further alleged.
He then observed that all the indigenous communities residing in the State must know the GoI's secret ploy to disintegrate Manipur, failing which he cautioned that all the communities residing in the State will ultimately bear the burden of the secret ploy.
Sanjit maintained that all the communities residing in the State need to sit together and sort out the differences.
It is also equally important to identify who are the persons who really steal/loot the benefits promised by several Government schemes and entitled to hill people.
The ACOAM-LUP president also decried that the MLAs and the Ministers of the State Government are busy in a leadership struggle instead of trying to solve the issues besieging the State.
He lamented that the State Government has been trying to deviate public attention from the issue of Babysana's controversial death.
Yet, he assured that ACOAM-LUP will extend all possible support in the fight for delivering justice to the minor student.
International Peace and Social Advancement (IPSA) president Joychandra Konthoujam while speaking as an invitee asserted that IPSA and other CSOs in the State welcome the move of the Central Government to expedite and bring a solution to the peace talk going on between it and NSCN (IM).
He said that bringing a solution on the protracted peace talk without harming the interest of Manipur would be welcomed with open arms thing by all the communities and people residing in the State.
However, he warned that the CSOs in the State will not remain silent if the solution worked out between two parties harms the State in any way and added that the CSOs and people of the State are always prepared to do any anything if the Government fails to understand the concern of the Manipuri people.
Former IPSA adviser Ibotombi Khuman, Kanglei Ima Lup president RK Sanahanbi, KANGLAMEI president Y Leirik Leima and UCM vice president Ksh Somorendro also attended the function as presidium members.
