COVID-19 patient recovers

The 23 year old woman from Thangmeiband who has been undergoing treatment at the isolation ward of JNIMS Hospital after she tested positive for COVID-19 has been recovering steadily.
The woman's younger brother who stayed together with her in a hotel has tested negative for coronavirus or COVID-19 .
Meanwhile, an individual displaying symptoms suspected to be those of COVID-19 has been brought to JNIMS today.
On the other hand, people who travelled together with the COVID-19 positive woman in an Air Asia flight are being quarantined, informed a source.
Even though the woman's brother has been tested negative, he would be quarantined for 14 days and he would be re-tested before he is sent home, said the source.
Meanwhile, three doctors of JNIMS who are directly involved in treating the woman have been quarantined since yesterday.
Out of the 160 people who travelled together with the woman in the same flight, 150 have been put at quarantine centres.
In all, 190 people have been lodged in quarantine centres till date.
Some of the co-passengers could not be picked up as they do not give reply to phone calls or their phones are not working or their addresses are not known.
Notably, 12 family members and neighbours of the woman have been already picked up and put at quarantine centres.
One individual who came from Chennai is being examined by doctors within an isolation ward at Churachandpur.
It is reported that the Central Government has started sending personal protection equipment and masks as demanded by the State govt.
