Governor, CM, others convey Christmas wishes

As people in the State are gearing up for the auspicious Christmas, the Governor and the Chief Minister of the State along with many others have greeted the people of Manipur a joyous Christmas, today .
"I convey my warm greetings to the people of Manipur, specially to our Christian brethren, on the sacred occasion of Christmas, 2017," said the Governor of the State, Dr Najma Heptulla in her message to the people .
The Governor in her greetings to the people said that the noble ideals of peace, harmony and brotherhood espoused by the Lord Jesus for a better world devoid of all evils should always be the guiding light and upheld by all irrespective of caste, creed or religion .
N Biren Singh, the Chief Minister in his message, wished people to spread peace and shun evil .
"I wish the people of Manipur a very Merry Christmas and pray the Almighty that the season of love and joy ushers in an era of peace, harmony and prosperity in this beautiful State," said the Chief Minister in his message to the people .
Yumnam Joykumar Singh, the Deputy Chief Minister of the State also greeted the people of Manipur on the auspicious occasion of Merry Christmas.
In his greeting message, he wished peace, love, harmony and prosperity to all the people .
Th Biswajit Singh, Minister, Works/RD and PRT also wished the people a joyous Christmas and said that the festival is a unifying event which will bind together different communities with love, peace and compassion.
The Minister wished that the Christmas brings in peace and build trust between the different communities in the State .
Karam Shyam, Minister, CAF and PD too greeted the people of Manipur a joyous Christmas.
"As the world lights candles for Christmas�, may the light of the love, kindness and compassion glow in every heart and may peace and goodwill prevail in our minds," said the Minister in his message to the people .
Th Shyamkumar, Minister MAHUD, in his message to the people, whished a blessed Christmas and a prosperous New Year, 2018."This Christmas, let us renew the spirit of hope, courage and compassion that brought us to where we stand today.
Let us care for those who are less fortunate, protect those who are vulnerable, love and understand each other and uphold the high moral character that defines us as people," said the Minister in his message to the people .
Bharatiya Janata Party, Thoubal district also extended its greetings to the people of Manipur on the occasion of the Christmas.
It wished a prosperous and peaceful year ahead with the coming of the Christmas .
Socialist Students' Union of Manipur in its message too greeted the people of the State a joyous Christmas and wished that the festival brings unity, love and peace to all.
