Speaking on the occasion, Lamana Riamei strongly advocated for women to be strong and assertive of their rights while exhorting women to access the office & avail the available opportunities or facilities under the One Stop Centre.
She also assured women of all possible support and assistance.
"Let's re-orient our mind from just becoming the beneficiaries of some Government schemes to education.
Educated communities never fight for schemes rather they are the contributors of ideas for development, if we want our district or community to be advanced or developed then education should be given priority", said Joseph Pauline Kamson.
"No worthwhile thing can be achieved in isolation, for which the need of the hour is to march together, if we don't sail together then we sink together", said Hejang Misao, Director, InSIDE-North East while elaborating on the importance of collaboration between the Government, community & NGOs to bring about synergy and achieve the vision of peace & sustainable development for the people.
