Dental Health camp concludes

Kangpokpi, October 23 2017:
The three days free dental health camp conducted at Keithelmanbi Military Colony in Kangpokpi district concluded today at Sahlang Lentol Keithelmanbi Youth Association office .
The camp which began on October 21 was organised by Thadou Students' Association Sadar Hills, in collaboration with Kalyan Ashram Manipur, to celebrate the completion of 60 years of Thadou Students' Association.
Senior Dental Surgeon from Ahmedabad, Dr Pratibha Athavale who is also a recipient of IDA’s Shruta Award and an India Dental Association Foundation’s National Oral Healthcare Award, attended to nearly 200 dental patient of the district .
Organising secretary of Kalyan Ashram Manipur (KAM), Kedar Kulkarni and KAM joint secretary Donshinlu Golmei and Singsing also assisted in the camp.
The senior Dental Surgeon attended her patient dedicatedly from 9 am till 4 pm.
President of TSA Sadar Hills, Kamkhomang Kipgen said that the idea of organizing the camp came from the backdrop of TSA’s willingness to extend maximum public service and in consideration of the grievances faced by the people from the interior parts of the district, owing to dental problem .
A Thadou traditional scarf was also presented to Dr Pratibha Athavale and officials of Kalyan Ashram Manipur.
