RPF claims hand in Kambang Khullen ambush

The proscribed RPF has claimed that the Kambang Khullen ambush of March 11 was carried out by a group of PLA cadres drawn from its different units, stations and departments.
The Assam Rifles team led by a CO was attacked by the PLA cadres using explosives, RPG, M-79 and other assault rifles, said a press release issued by the outfit's Publicity Secretary Roben Khuman.
At the impact of the blast, three personnel of 24 Assam Rifles were ejected from their vehicle and fell in a gorge while three others were killed inside their vehicle.
Terrified by the sudden attack, the CO and other surviving personnel fled for life leaving behind the dead and the injured ones, claimed RPF.

Saying that the ambush was a part of the PLA's Operation Leopard, the outfit claimed that they recovered one AK-47 rifle, one AR-M1F41, three magazines, 87 live rounds, one magazine pouch, one INSAS LMG, one INSAS rifle, two magazines, 48 live rounds and one Motorola wireless set.
The cadres who took part in the battle have reached PLA general headquarters safe and sound along with the weapons and equipment seized from the Indian military.
The party President and the Secretary General have hailed the successful launch of Operation Leopard.
RPF has also congratulated CPI(Maoist) for their successful strike against security forces in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh on March 11 where 20 security personnel were killed.
RPF understands the misery and suffering of Indian people for whom the CPI(Maoists) have been waging a revolutionary movement for RPF has the same experience.
Saying that RPF and CPI(Maoists) are strategic partners, the outfit conveyed its best wishes to CPI(Maoist).
Before the successful attack of March 11, PLA's 252 Mobile Battalion and Tactical Command have undertaken two successful attacks on alien forces on January 26 and February 8 respectively and these successes have been acknowledged by the PLA's War Office, Roben conveyed.
