Cabinet decisions on economic blockade compensation

Imphal, October 11 2011:
The Cabinet has decided to compensate the vehicles and goods burnt in the ongoing economic blockades.
So far 14 cases have been reported to the Government.
DCs and SPs are to submit their reports in this connection.
The Cabinet has also decided to provide employment to the next of kins of 15 people killed in the June 18, 2001 uprising.
Seven pc DA of the Govt employees will be released from November 1 and 49 Jr HS will be upgraded to High School under RMSA.
For this 294 teachers will be inducted including three teachers each for Hindi, Mao, Vaiphei and Zou and one for Bengali.
The MOBC (SC) will be set up as a separate entity under an Addl Director after divesting it from TD.
The Chief Minister met people from Sadar Hills today evening and received their feedbacks.
