The Joint Action Committee (JAC) Reject Police Constable Recruitment, 2013 has warned of taking up different forms of intense agitation in case the Government fails to declare the recruitment results for 10,260 candidates of Police Constable (Male) 2013 batch at the earliest.
Addressing newspersons at Manipur Press Club today, Chongtham Sasikanta, secretary of the JAC said that the candidates had already faced physical test, written test and viva voce but they are being kept without declaring the results.
He said that an enquiry commission was constituted in this regard and of the total candidates, the Court rejected 3052 candidates and an order was issued approving 7230 candidates to be included in the merit list.
He claimed that the Home Department is conducting viva voce for 348 candidates who were not included in the physical test, written test and viva voce held in 2013.Besides launching different modes of intense agitation, a petition would be filed in the Supreme Court against the non-declaration of the recruitment results, he cautioned.
