MNPF observes 8th Raising Day

The 8th Raising Day of Manipur Naga People's Front (MNPF) was observed at its general headquarters, battalion headquarters and in all the units and departments today.
Greeting the people on the occasion, chairman of MNPF, John Francis said that MNPF has been able to defeat its enemies successfully at many intervals and is able to reach the present status because of the blessings of Almighty and with the support of the revolutionary parties of North East and the people of Manipur.
He continued that the 8th Raising Day is celebrated under the motto 'Forward in Unity' as love and unity is the basis for any accomplishment.
Further he called for unified efforts from the people of Manipur, revolutionary groups of North East and cadres of MNPF to strive earnestly in the liberation movement.
John Francis stated that India's divide and rule policy poses hindrance to the integrity of Manipur since many years and therefore one should be wary of the 'deceitful Indian politics' .
He alleged that the Government of India has been misleading the people of Manipur in the name of development works as it has not taken up any measures till date in order to make the State a self reliant one.
