State Tourism team for Indian Travel Mart (ITM)

The State is set to promote Manipur Sangai Festival during Indian Travel Mart (ITM) to be held from October 8 to 10 in Srinagar.
A State team led by Tourism Department Deputy Director Dr K Shyamsunder Singh has already left Imphal in this connection.
The three-day event would provide a promotional platform to different international and national organisations, said a press statement.
Being organised with the primary objective to boost tourism worldwide, develop relationship and business contacts, ITM would provide detailed information on perfect holidays, travel and tour packages, rail tourism packages, online train, airlines and cruise reservations, unexplored destinations, hotels and resorts, palaces of the country and abroad.
The State team would put in efforts to attract tourists from different States and countries with promotional campaigns of the State's natural beauty, rich flora-fauna, art and culture, handloom and handicrafts, fine arts, indigenous cuisines, traditional dances and music, indigenous games and adventure sports.
