Weaving loom and fishing boat distributed

In another endeavour of Mangal Rural for improving the economy of villagers, the enterprise distributed 100 weaving looms to 100 women weavers and ten boats to the locals of Wangoo Gram Panchayat at Wangoo community hall today .
Mangal Rural has been taking up different initiatives for the welfare of villages, located in remote areas by providing electrical facilities and making a village 100 per cent compute literate .
Locals of Wangoo Gram Panchayat under Kakching district depend on fishing and weaving for their livelihood and Mangal Rural distributed 100 weaving looms at low instalment rate to the weavers .
Speaking at the gathering, retired headmaster Nabakumar Oinam stressed on the need to indulge oneself to hard work by using our intuition and creativity .
Mangal Rural founder Ningthoujam Surjit stated that the enterprise has distributed and assisted in providing boats, fridge, washing machine at lower instalment rate and this initiative was taken up to help the current project/ scheme of the State Government to promote weaving and handlooms of the State .
He further stated that the weaving looms were distributed so as to increase the productivity since the State Government aims to substitute school dresses and other items at schools and colleges with handloom products .
The programme was attended by retired headmaster Nabakumar Oinam, social worker L Khomei and DESAM Kakching District president L Hemajit as presidium members.
