Strongly coming out against all the political parties in the State, the Working Committee of the Apunba Lup today asked all political parties to stop hobnobbing with Delhi to deal with the current situation as the response from the Centre will only fuel the volatile situation.
In a statement issued to the press today, the Apunba Lup said that the BJP, CPI and CPI (M) have made their stand clear and cited their statements to the press that lifting the AFSPA will not bring anything positive.
This has made it clear that the political parties in Manipur do not have any say on matters concerning the interest of the people.
No political parties in Manipur will be able to meet and challenge the Centre, said the Apunba Lup and added that the people's movement will not be decided on the manner in which Delhi reacts from time to time, said the statement.
