Professor Arunkumar takes charge as RIMS MS

Professor Ch Arunkumar Singh has taken the charge of Medical Superintendent of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) from today.
Addressing newspersons at his office chamber today, Arunkumar who hails from Singjamei Chingamakha Chongtham Leikai said that the charge of Medical Superintendent was taken from Professor Amuba.
He informed that the interview for holding the post was held at Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi on August 5 of last year of which the results was declared on November 4 .
He elaborated that eight persons took part in the interview during which Director General Health Services asked about the works to be taken up after holding the post which is for four years.
During the interview, the Professor assured that he will keep emphasis on patient care service of the hospital, strengthen relationship between doctors and patients, improve cleanliness and sanitation and change the sulabh system of the hospital into modular toilet.
He also assured that a seperate water supply system of the hospital would be set up.
Professor Arunkumar asserted that there would not be problem in seeking funds from the concerned Ministry for implementing the measures.
He added that steps will be taken up to increase medicine supply and improve diet system of the hospital.
