Infant killed after gold ear-rings snatched

Imphal, December 31 2011:
An infant boy has been killed after his gold ear-rings and neck-chain were snatched.
Body of the victim identified as Ningthoujam Aadish, who was only a year and eight months old, was fished out from the Laphupat Tera Khunou section of Manipur river at around 9.30 am today.
It is informed that Aadish and his uncle namely Tomba were at the local playground where arrangement was on for organising a thabal Chongba to bid good-bye to the year.
As Tomba was busy in the Thabal Chongba arrangement, Aadish went traceless and his body was fished out from the river after a frantic search.
