Six boys hurt in mishap

Senapati, December 21 2015:
At least six boys were hurt when a cricket team on their way back home at Senapati district headquarters met with an accident near Khongnem along NH-2 today.
The boys were travelling in an auto-rickshaw.
The team were returning after playing a match at Lairouching today.
The auto rickshaw is a local auto ferrying the boys for the match.
Two among the six injured including the driver suffered back and body injuries.
Fortunately they are out of danger.
Some of the team members travelling in private vehicles managed to evacuate all the injured and rushed them for first aid assistance.
The injured members requested that they be not named.
Road accident cases on NH-2 have been rising during the festival seasons.
Every year a number of road mishaps are reported during this season.
Recently killed two persons were killed while many others were injured in a road accident involving a Tata Sumo at Maram.
An oil tanker over-turned near Makhan while an LPG truck met with an accident near Kangpokpi.
An auto skidded off the road injuring two persons at Mayangkhang, while a Maruti car rammed injured two youths.
