AMUCO president Ph Deban also pointed out that construction of any dam would not be a problem if the authority make adequate arrangements to ease the plight of people who would be affected by the project.
He said that the people are angry and restless because the authority is not providing necessary compensation.
He also demanded a white paper on the construction of the dam.
Many leaders and representatives of the villages affected by construction of the dam also warned against commissioning the dam without permission from the people affected by it and before the demands of the various organisations are met.
