The first state level Taal Faangnaba competition which is to be conducted for three days was launched today at Naorem Chaprou Panthoibi Shanglen, Shamurou.
Speaking as the Chief Guest at the inaugural function MPCC President Gaikhangam said that culture plays a pivotal role in bringing peace and integrity in the state.
The culture of this state is priceless.
To preserve one's culture is the most important duty of the society.
Retired Principal of JN Manipur Dance Academy S.Thanil said that the countries of the world are competing in the field of culture.
Nat Sankirtan of Manipur is known world wide and we as Manipuri's are proud of it.
He further said that we need to love our culture and preserve it because Manipur is made known to the world by our culture.
