Imphal, July 27 2019:
The Thangmeiband United Club (TUC) has announced a reward of Rs five lakh to any one who can give information about the facts and circumstances leading to the death of Ningthoujam Babysana.
Speaking to media persons at the office of THAU this afternoon.
TUC president Pratap Leishangthem said that the reward would be given to any one whether they belong to State police, other Government or private agencies or CSOs or whether they are students if they can give information about the facts and circumstances leading to the death of Babysana.
Identities and other personal details of people who can give detail accounts of how Babysana died will be kept secret, he promised.
"Any one who has information or details about how Babysana died may come to me or other executives of TUC.
There is no specific deadline for sharing the details but we want them as soon as possible" .
Pratap said.
It is matter of grave concern that the State Government is still unable to find any clue on how Babysana died even though it has been 10 days since the minor student was found dead.
TUC's monetary reward is not necessarily about money alone but it is also a token of gratitude to all those people who help in delivering justice, he said.
JAC Against the Mysterious Death of Ninthoujam Babysana Chanu convenor Thingnam Chittaranjan said that a public meeting would be held at THAU complex at 11 am tomorrow to further discuss about the controversial death of Babysana.
He then appealed to all CSOs, student organisations, MeiraPaibis and the general public to attend the meeting.
The public meeting has been convened as the JAC is not in a position to take decisions alone regarding the shocking death.
Ningthoujam Babysana (14) of Thangmeiband Maisnam Leikai was found hung to death inside the hostel of Standard Robarth Higher Secondary School under suspicious circumstances in the morning of July 14 .
She was reading in Class VII in Standard Robarth Hr Sec School.
