Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Gaikhangam has stated that the process for recruitment of Constables (Male) in Manipur which started in 2013 has been cancelled as anomalies have been detected in PET as well as the written examination.

An enquiry was conducted into the matter and the Government has received the enquiry report.
In accordance with the enquiry report, notifications have been served to the officials concerned and necessary actions would be taken up in accordance to law.
But what kind of action would be taken up cannot be spelt out at the moment, stated the Deputy Chief Minister.
He then appealed to all the candidates who took part in the earlier recruitment process not to take recourse to bandhs and blockades but to take part in the fresh process.
Speaking at the Janmastami celebration, Gaikhangam remarked that more and more people have been neglecting religious doctrines.
That is why, there are many people nowadays who do not have any qualms in speaking lies and committing all kinds of wrongs.
When a man starts overlooking the presence of the Almighty, his life is doomed.
